We want you to savor this at the start of a special day!
A luxurious menu featuring local cuisine unique to Ise-Shima.
Lobster Curry
This luxurious curry allows you to fully enjoy the spiny lobster, known as the "king of seafood." The rich flavor is carefully extracted and simmered slowly, and the mild roux, with the sweetness and richness of coconut, is harmonious, making it safe even for children.
Arare Chazuke
This is a type of ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it), a local dish that has been popular in the Ise-Shima region. Mie Prefecture has a thriving rice culture, and "arare" (rice crackers) have been made at home since ancient times. It is a simple yet flavorful dish that allows you to fully enjoy the taste of the ingredients.
A comparison of different types of bonito flakes, perfect as an accompaniment to hot rice.
"Kyusei's bonito flakes," produced in Namikiri, Ise-Shima, are fragrant and beloved by many chefs. First, enjoy their original flavor by generously topping freshly cooked rice with them, and then try them with soy sauce or other condiments to enjoy a variety of tastes.
We also offer three dishes that were certified as "100-Year Foods" in fiscal year 2023!
Sea Herb Rice Porridge
In the Kunizaki district of Toba City, a town known for its female divers, a custom is observed where hijiki, hondawara, fukuronori, funori, umitora no, and wakame seaweed, along with green vegetables, are added to rice porridge and eaten in the hope of good health and protection from illness.
Tekone Sushi
This is a representative fisherman's dish from Shima. Fresh bonito marinated in soy sauce and rice are kneaded by hand, creating an exquisite dish that allows you to feel the rich aroma of the sea.
Ise Udon
This is a specialty dish from Ise, featuring thick, soft noodles coated in a tamari soy sauce-based dipping sauce. Please enjoy this simple and nostalgic flavor that has been loved by pilgrims for centuries.
